Becoming a Lion may be life-changing

Chances are, if you live in Lakewood or one of our neighboring communities, you have been to, been invited to, or have heard of one of our activities. You may even have benefited from one of the programs that Lions partner in. We are a well established organization with penchant for having a good time even when working through the blood, sweat and tears it takes to complete some projects.

If you have ever tried to enjoy a peaceful meal at Lakewood's RAM Restaurant during Monday lunchtime, you have probably been distracted by the often raucous laughter coming from the back meeting room. We don't apologize! It's how we roll!cartoon of lion eating pizza

You can get a little closer to the action by dropping in on the second and fourth Mondays of every month and sharing a noon meeting in our company. By the time lunch is over we will be inviting you to look into becoming one of us. Why not? Life is too short to miss out on a few good laughs.

But through all the laughter we also accomplish some pretty remarkable feats and projects. We have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of some extraordinary local folks and organizations who themselves are working as hard as we do to make a great city even more enjoyable for all to live, work and play in.

If this sounds like how you would like to spend at least a part of your life we can make it real easy. Really! Easy! Here are a few ways you can get started:
• Drop in at one of our 2nd or 4th Monday lunches. (We meet every Monday, but these two are open meetings while the others are business meetings.)
• Contact one of the following Lions to have your questions answered:
Jan at 253.219.0313 or or
Eric at 253.222.3742 or
