Dr. Robert Allen
President

Bob Allen is the Lakewood First Lions Presidentbob allen for 2018-2019.  He has served as a Lion for 13 years, making a smooth transition from four decades as part of the US Air Force (AF) with its creed of “service before self.”  During his active service with the AF, he performed multiple flight and ground duties.  After retirement, he taught history at Pierce College and was later an AF civil service historian.  He retired again from the latter at McChord Field in 2017.

Faith, family and fun have provided strong foundations for Bob’s experiences with Lions.
Friends, higher education and lifelong travel have also influenced his outlook on how best to be a part of “We Serve” in Lions.

David O'Keefe
Vice President

Jan McCaffrey
Secretary & Membership

Jan knows her duties are critical to the survival of the club and approaches the assignment fully confident that she will see her efforts multiply the membership. That belief and positive attitude shine like a beacon attracting new members.
